R.Morrison Posted November 13, 2009 Share #3 Posted November 13, 2009 jjjjuin, ni hao: It is possible that you are expecting your camera to do something that it cannot do. But then, perhaps I do not understand you. Could you re-submit your statement in Mandarin? I shall have a lady from Shinyang decipher. Be advised that 'up and down side' is an unclear expression in English whereas 'vertical' and 'horizontal' are more clear. Be further advised that the focusing patch has movement in the horizontal plane only and the images should be at all times in vertical alignment. Perhaps one day I shall be able to speak Mandarin as well as you speak English. Boko chi in advance, Robert Morrison
redbaron Posted November 13, 2009 Share #4 Posted November 13, 2009 Do you mean that the rangefinder patch does not match up in the vertical? One is above the other? If so, it should be easy to fix by adjusting. Don't try it yourself though. Did you receive the camera by post? If you did then you may have to be ready for an argument about whether the camera had the fault before it was handed over to the postie. Rangefinder patch allignment problems are often caused by dropping, or sharp knocks. Good luck!
garygsandhu Posted November 14, 2009 Share #5 Posted November 14, 2009 Vertical misalignment of the rangefinder focussing patch can be easily fixed by a technician with a special tool, the adjustment screw being behind the screw above the lens mount.
