Mauribix Posted November 16, 2009 Share #81 Posted November 16, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well, I have posted the unprocessed files too, which are far harsher on the M9 than the filtered ones, trust me. And if you don't understand why I have upressed the nikon to match the leica file size... read the article you have taken to quoting a few times now... a few more times, ok? That way, you won't make this mistake again Ulrik, dunno how funny you can find all of this. But I don't like to be kid. I know for sure why you upressed the files. That's because you are not a tester, and you can't make any serious comparison. What you linked above confirm what I said. You should have left the picture with their actual size. I.e. two different output from a 12mpx camera and a 18mpx one. How could you post process two files and then compare them to find what sensor is best? How could you do that after reducing the noise by software with different settings and then claim that to be a serious test? How could you trust that? Are you just a pixel peeper?Obviously not a photographer. And I'm glad you're stuck in the middle of a decision such as that of "M9 or D700" "M8+D700 or just M9"? Life can be so funny and perverse sometimes.

So basically, you don't understand why I have upressed, you did not get the point of the article I linked to.. the author strongly recommends upressing when comparing for noise/etc, you have no idea what my photography is like, and when i post the tests you specifically asked for, I'm a pixelpeeper .. great.. Congratulations.
