leicanut2 Posted November 29, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 29, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just picked up a APO-Televid angled spotting scope and have bin looking at eyepieces, they all say bayonet mount. Yet on my scope where you mount the eyepiece it looks to be a screw mount even has a cap screwed on. So what do I have?? Do the eyepieces come with a adapter that makes them a bayonet? Is the bayonet in the ID inside of the mount??
Advertisement Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Hi leicanut2, Take a look here Leica APO-Televid 77 scope. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stumac Posted November 29, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 29, 2006 Jan, The eyepiece has a bayonet mount integral with body, fits inside the screw and fits flush with scope body, enjoy a supurb scope. Which eyepiece do you have? I think the most popular is the 20 -60x zoom, although the fixed mag eyepieces may be slightly better. I have the 20-60 and am very happy with it. leicanut2 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted November 29, 2006 I just got the scope from a store closing have not picked up a eyepiece yet . I think I want the 20 for the D-Lux 3 and the 20-60 for just everyday bird, watching. Isn't a bird a slang term for girl in England Ha. Thanks Again now to find a deal on a eyepiece. Cheers Jan
