mingmac Posted November 9, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 9, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I think there are little droplets in my M6 front viewfinder and I want to open the top plate to clean it. Im not sure if it worths to buy the clamp to remove the top plate and clean it myself or not. I just want to know how much if i send this to somewhere instead of doing it by myself and how long it will take. THanks.

jhild Posted November 13, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 13, 2009 Hi, the whole Leica M clamp set is available from Micro Tools and very well worth buying. It has already saved me a large amount of money. For lifting the top plate of an M6 you´ll need a Phillips Ph00 and an adjustable spanner, too. Have fun Jo
