Ian Fozzard Posted November 4, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 4, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a Digilux 3 with a variety of lenses and am trialling an R Series 250mm F4 3 cam Telyt. I am currently using an aftermarket adapter as I understand the Leica adapter is very expensive (£150.00+?). Can anyone advise me if there is any functional advantage in using a genuine Leica adapter (other than the guarantee of high quality). I do notice that there is some rotational movement between the adapter and the camera body when using the aftermarket adapter, but I'm not sure whether the Leica item would improve that? Many thanks for your advice Ian Fozzard Scotland
Advertisement Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Hi Ian Fozzard, Take a look here Leica R to 4/3rds adapter. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
rsolomon Posted November 6, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 6, 2009 i do use the leica adpater. i have not used any after market adapters. i can tell you the leica adpater is smooth and fits well - no movement. i do understand the fotodox adapters are very good - and even heard they they made the leica version. Ian Fozzard Posted November 6, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted November 6, 2009 Thanks again Rich, I'll see if I can find something a little better than the one I have, although I am reluctant to get the Leica one at the list price! Ian F
