sandymc Posted November 17, 2009 Share #41 Posted November 17, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does Capture One do the same or is it non-destructive? Cheers Chris R Non-destructtive - all the Capture one metadata is in all those "CaptureOne" directories that C1 is so free with. Sandy
Advertisement Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Hi sandymc, Take a look here Does LR alter your referenced raw files. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ho_co Posted November 17, 2009 Share #42 Posted November 17, 2009 ... BTW--does the Adobe link work? May be just short-term, but I'm getting "Site Area Temporarily Unavailable." ... Forget the question. The link works today. Let's hope Adobe pays some attention.
JPSuisse Posted November 18, 2009 Share #43 Posted November 18, 2009 Thanks for the welcome! Basically, I'm really happy with the combination of Lightroom, ExifTool and DNGs. I just back the raw files (M8 and scanner) up before I save any changes to them. I think it's really great the way Lightroom reads my raw scanner files and my film and digital flows meet in a way where all my photos are always at my finger tips.
