LADP Posted November 27, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 27, 2006 That black couch you're sitting on doesn't look quite right on my monitor though... Just kidding. The self portrait looks quite rich and sharp. Thanks for posting that. Wish I had a spare 5 G's lying around.
rosuna Posted November 27, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted November 27, 2006 Well, it is not a self-protrait. He is my friend Juan Oliver. He has a Leica M8 chrome (nad a Summilux 50mm ASPH on it) and I have a M8 black. I made the picture with my M8.

LADP Posted November 27, 2006 Share #8 Posted November 27, 2006 Well, it is not a self-protrait. He is my friend Juan Oliver. He has a Leica M8 chrome (nad a Summilux 50mm ASPH on it) and I have a M8 black. I made the picture with my M8. Ha ha... I made that assumption since I read that it was taken with an M8 and I saw the M8 in the photograph. Nice portrait then.
RaySwan Posted November 29, 2006 Share #9 Posted November 29, 2006 Rosuna, was it a bright sunny day when you took this image? I'm trying to gauge just how bright the light yellow home in the rear window was. If it's bright sunny day I think the dynamic range of the m8 is pretty good !! Even if hazy day the house was bright enough my D200 Nikon would have washed it out. thanks, ray...........
