rick123 Posted November 26, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi everyone, I was wondering what percentage of time you find yourself using a flash with your M camera. I tend to avoid the flash with my D-Lux 2 because of the noise and washed out colors. I have never used a flash with my M6 - my Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 seems fast enough for most situations. Guest guy_mancuso Posted November 26, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 26, 2006 One of the reasons i bought the M8 was for event work, so I have used it already doing a event, worked nice but i used A mode on the Metz like I do with the DMR
blakley Posted November 26, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 26, 2006 I haven't used a flash with mine... generally I've been avoiding flash for years, but I have to admit I'd considered getting a remote trigger and a flash and giving it a go, just to see what the results would be... Perhaps the "Erfahrener" threshold is 100 posts?
erl Posted November 26, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 26, 2006 Like Guy said, works perfectly well, and of course the 1/250 synch makes it reasonably useful. Set the exposure level of the flash to your own taste, ie main light or fill etc and you are laughing.
