elansprint72 Posted November 28, 2009 Author Share #41 Posted November 28, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) So; Chester having been proven to be something of a damp (and in my case, very expensive) squib, we move on to the main event of the year in MANchester. As I understand it, we meet up in the cafe at MOSI at 10:00 (by which time the best shots of the day will already have been taken), and it is downhill from there. Look forward to seeing the old, and new, faces.

elansprint72 Posted November 29, 2009 Author Share #43 Posted November 29, 2009 Any thoughts on where we should wander? I'd like to re-visit Crown Square area (briefly). Perhaps I'll do that pre-10:00. If is is sluicing down, the steam and oil in the Power Hall are calling me.

andybarton Posted November 29, 2009 Share #45 Posted November 29, 2009 I probably won't come. I don't want to be arrested and have my DNA taken. Indeed, I am thinking of selling all my cameras, so as to avoid upsetting the Government.

elansprint72 Posted December 3, 2009 Author Share #48 Posted December 3, 2009 The weather forecast for the week-end suggests that non-waterproof Leicas might be a bad idea. Similarly for clothing.

Rolo Posted December 3, 2009 Share #50 Posted December 3, 2009 I'm in. Assuming it's Saturday 5th Dec, 10am at the Museum of Science and Industry in Castlefield. Just spelling this out as there's plenty of suggestions and commitments, but can't find a reference to definitive meeting arrangements. Sorry if I've overlooked the obvious, but I am an outsider. Just spelling this out as there's plenty of suggestions and commitments, but can't find a reference to definitive meeting arrangements. Sorry if I've overlooked the obvious, but I am an outsider. Its always best to be an outsider but that's my understanding as well! It great to benefit from this great age of communication. We should be so thankful to those in power for taking us into this globalised world of the internet where misunderstandings can never occur, where everything works perfectly, where managers, politicians and leaders are always right and where all new cameras work perfectly. After all, since Professor Dawkins has shown that all religions are trash we have to find something to believe in - Leica it is then! (sorry shome mistake - shopping - ed.Cameron) See you on Saturday.:D
