EIZO monitor calibration

I am using an EIZO CG241W, which can be hardware calibrated and I know/assume that there are a few forum Members who also use the same or similar monitor.

My question is the following: When calibrating the monitor, one can define the setting such as luminosity (100ccd, 80 ccd etc), the white point /(5500 kelvin, 6000 kelvin etc), and so on. Using the calibration devise, the monitor will then be calibrated accordingly.

What setting do people use? Or how do they determine what setting to use?

Thanks
