jtharvie Posted October 18, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 18, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Any help here would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to use my Epson 2200 with my MacBook. I follow the instructions that tells me to go to "Print & Fax" in System Preferences From there go to "Drivers" tab and make my setting selections. I am not able to access anything. The printer type is shown in a non access shadow. I have downloaded new drivers from the Epson site, and restarted the computer to no avail. I turned off the printer and removed the Epson 2200 and then turned it on again as the troubleshooter guide suggests but still I can't access the advanced settings. Any ideas? Thanks, jth
Advertisement Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Hi jtharvie, Take a look here Epson 2200 & MacBook - no advanced setting access. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest joewehry Posted October 18, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 18, 2009 Off the top of my head, the advanced settings may not show up until you actually try to print a photo and then you select that in the printer dialogue box. Have you given that a try yet?
jtharvie Posted October 19, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted October 19, 2009 I was trying to print. I can select my Epson 2200 but I can't make any selection for paper type, print speed, etc. When I access the window where I should be able to do this according to the manual, I can't make any selections. Any help would be appreciated. jth
