His wife came from Iceland He just got his M9 a week ago. I met him in Paris this evening but did not ask his name. Just curious.

DeLosLindos Posted October 24, 2009 Share #8 Posted October 24, 2009 Thanks for the constructive feedback... I thought I asked a normal question. You did ask normal question. But when I googled 'Moe Howard' all I could find was this Stooges guy. When you google 'Norwegian photographer living in Switzerland' you'll find a flickr link, a Canon guy... Good luck! -DeLosLindos

Good luck! -DeLosLindos Of course I tried Google in many ways before I asked the question here. On this forum there are many knowledgeable Leica photographers who probably know the person I'm taking about, I thought. I even have a photo of the person, but I don't think it is good to put it up on a forum. I was just curious. Nothing more. He told me he was one of three persons in Switzerland to get an M9 and that in the store he bought the M9 25 people were on the waiting list to get one. ho_co Posted October 24, 2009 Share #10 Posted October 24, 2009 Maarten-- That store might be your next link. You might look for Swiss Leica dealerships and then contact them. Good luck.

And I'm sorry for the unhelpful answer you got earlier. Thanks, Howard. I'm not that curious. I thought maybe someone on the forum would know the guy. He told me he loved the M9. Finally a real digital M. He had the M8 for a while and didn't like it: to noisy shutter. I did not mention the upgraded shutter to him. I was just looking for a way to find more info on his work. He told us that he did do a lot of Arctic and Antarctic projects. Thanks again, Maarten
