Advertisement Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Hi jackart, Take a look here Good news for in EVF area. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
georg Posted October 17, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 17, 2009 A panel with the same resolution is already used in the G1 - not sufficient for the replacement of a good SLR-finder. ARRI just presented an EVF with 1280x720 (do they use panels for beamers?) but for a 5ok€-camera, let's hope Leica will offer similar quality a little bit cheaper... Jaak IMHO this product isn't quite "there" yet but it shows that good progress is being made in the right direction. Another year of development and this kind of viewfinder technology could be quite good.

OK, I just still remember my V-Lux 1 coarse 235 Kpixel EVF image with no point at all. New 480 Kpix indeed is not as good as 920 Kpix ARRI unit Jaak
