with my M8 i used the apple application 'Image Capture' (Digitale Bilder) and connected it to lightroom - folder on automatic import.

so i could do some kind of tethering.

with my M9 it doesn't work. anybody knows why not?

does/will apple aperture support the M9?

Apple - Aperture - Technical Specifications - Raw Support

not yet but would think they will. M8 took a little while before support came through. And it won't have to come in an Aperture update. It'll be in other minor updates unless it ties in with Aperture 3 or whatever might be next.

you can always send request here in their feedback form

I'm not sure what you're expecting, but Aperture (v 2.1.4 is what I tried) loads and processes M9 files just fine. (Both compressed and uncompressed DNGs.)

It'll be official support from apple where specific profiles are made for the M9 dng files. I may be wrong but the only reason the dng files can be open is because they are dng but it's just a generic profile.
