innerimager Posted November 24, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 24, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) First time I've gotten to do this. Had the 15mm CV on the M8 and the 28/2.8 asph on the RD-1 giving a nice effective FL of 20mm and 42mm. Just to prove we have beaches in the US as well. best....Peter M8 RD-1 M8 RD-

innerimager Posted November 25, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted November 25, 2006 Really fantastic shots, I like the M8 sunset. many thanks Reven. It was a lovely sunset! I liked the way the M8 held the DR. I have several that aesthetically didn't like but really was amazed at how the M8 captured a bright setting sun and held plenty of detail in the shadowed beach. best...Peter

innerimager Posted November 25, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted November 25, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks! Very good RD-1 shots (sharper)! Thank you. I wouldn't in any way have these suggest the RD-1 is sharper, but it is plenty sharp. The sunset of course doesn't shoe this in the M8, and the other may well show more my inexperience using the 15 CV which requires guessing to focus as it isn't range finder coupled. And tat 28/2.8 was at f8, the lens is already sharp at 2.8, at f8 well....Peter

Guest lykoudos Posted November 25, 2006 Share #10 Posted November 25, 2006 Hello Peter, I am inspired by the admission. The M8 an unusual and outstanding camera. I Germany, the country of the perfectionists, we at present much grumbled about it. Greeting Wolfgang
