My M10R has 6 months left on the warranty. 85% of the time, when I push the shutter button, it fires. 15% of the time, it does not. I have to retry sometimes several times, and finally it shoots. Background is Leica R4-R6, M6’s, M9’s with dirty sensors, and now this- I’m not new to Leica. I’ve sent it back twice for repairs and it hasn’t been fixed. I need your advice. It costs a lot to ship it each time because of insurance. Should I just accept a camera that works 85% of the time? How do I get to Leica Germany? When it does shoot, it’s wonderful! I’d just love to have 100% confidence that I won’t miss my shot because the shutter fails. is that too much to expect?
