Hey everyone. Normally I shoot raw and post process in lightroom. Occasionally I shoot raw+jpeg with vivid color. Sometimes the results with Vivid are spectacular. But most of the time the images come out far darker than what the lcd suggests. On top of that, when viewing the images in lightroom the blacks area almost always crushed. I love the color it produces, but not crazy about the contrast it introduces in the process. A. I wish you had the ability to set the intensity of the effect in the menu (maybe something in the m10?) and B. Does anyone have any lightroom presets that come close to the vivid color settings? I've tried many times to get my raw files to look close to the vivid but with no luck Thanks!

Hey folks - I'm new here - and new to Rangefinder photography in general. But I took the big plunge on an M9 and a 35mm Summicron. I am absolutely loving this combination. What a thrill! And I'm improving my focusing skills every day. It perfectly suits my style of photography, and although I am not planning on selling my Canon system, I don't expect to be taking it out again any time soon. By way of introduction, I'm a television news producer - not a pro photographer (although I am dating one) - but I've been an avid photographer for 25 years. As I see it, the Leica is a natural evolution in my own style of photography. I started off shooting landscapes and abstract/nature years ago - and these days focus almost entirely on what some label "street photography." (i'm not a fan of the term). Anyway, I would be curious to know what presets any of you might have programmed into your M9s. I realize these are very personal things and would differ greatly among everyone, but on the Leica I find them much easier to use than on my Canon. A very quick way to change several settings at once. So if you care to share any details on how you've set up your presets I'd love to hear them. In the meantime, best to everyone. Hello... I have been looking for some guidelines/presets to get an good and speedy workflow for my M8 dng´s. My workflow is as follows: 1. having fun taking the pictures 2. import the pictures into Lightroom. Update dng and metadata.( This makes Aperture to read my lenses.....) 3 import into Aperture. 4 trying to get an speedy workflow.. with some automatic settings...to get things going... I am having trouble with number 4... I have been looking for a good preset for my files.. but cant find any. Please help.. or give examples how you do it.. Thanks Kenneth:)
