I’ve got 2 R6 bodies and a plethora of lenses which have been underused for sometime, and I’m currently having a sort out of my camera gear, as I’m currently sitting at an absurd 11 cameras (only the 2 Leicas) and 12 lenses. Part of this is planning on selling my DSLR body, and one of the R6’s to fund a new digital camera (no I can’t afford a Leica), leaving me with a nice film setup and a smaller more convenient digital camera that I can mix and match lenses on, including my Leica lenses. However when looking at my R6’s I noticed the DOF lever is sticking, so I guess it needs service/repair…… but I’m seeing lots of warnings about servicing on here and not much in the way of people who are reliable. So does anyone have any recommendations in the South East/Surrey area? I know there’s repairers in London but I don’t like going up there if I can avoid it. I know there used to be a place in Lewes which has now shut down sadly. Any advice would be greatly welcome……. I’d also be interested in reccomendations of places to sell it. I had a quote from one shop as a trade in against my new camera and was a bit underwhelmed, even before realising it had a sticky lever, so I suspect they’d try and push me down more too.
