So I have just purchased a D-Lux 4 Titantium on eBay. For some reason in my research, I missed that this version did not have an EVF, something I cannot do without on my X Vario. Anyway, I was wondering if you could answer two questions: 1. Which versions include an EVF on the camera and 2. Is there any noticable difference in image/picture quality between the 4, 5, 6 and the 109? Sorry if I sound like a newbie, but I am to the D-Lux platform and am feeling I may have already made a mistake in getting the 4. Thanks Mike

Hello all, I have the 'level gauge' feature enabled on my Typ 109, which is supposed to show a green line in the viewfinder when the camera is level. My images have often been out of level, with horizons dipping to the right so often that I couldn't believe I was not paying attention to the level. I finally went out to test it today, and sure enough...a series of 8 photos, horizontal and vertical, all taken with careful attention to the green line, and all very badly out of level. I'll attach one example here...they are all consistently like this. Takes a 1.7 adjustment in LR to level the horizon. Wondering if this is a known issue? Can't imagine I'll send back to factory and wait 6mos for a repair...had to do that once already. I'll just turn it off. But I am disappointed! Thanks for any advice. --C

Hey everyone! This might be a very special question, but I hope someone knows the answer. I've been lucky to get a good deal on a mint Leica D-Lux 18237 from 2003 and I know it uses regular SD cards as storage. But how big of a SD card can it handle? Originally it came with a "big" 64MB card. But will it handle a let's say 1GB one? Or 512MB? I'm not sure if there are any limitations or if I should get some old, small SD cards as replacements. Does any1 know an answer to this very specific question? Thank you very much!
