Jamie Roberts Posted September 24, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 24, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just a couple more shots to show the Canon 580v2 flash used with the Leica M8 and the 21 Elmarit (ISO 640 / f3.2 or thereabouts). A little different than last week's Indian wedding but still fun! ...and a group hug on the dance floor... Advertisement Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Hi Jamie Roberts, Take a look here Father daughter dance // group dance. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
azzo Posted September 24, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 24, 2007 Jamie, Both images are fine captures indeed......but the 1st has that extra something, giving it that lovely timeless feel to it. Azzo
Jamie Roberts Posted September 24, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted September 24, 2007 Thanks Ivan--I nearly didn't post the second one at all; it almost didn't make the cut. But I like the oddness of the group dancing 4 abreast. Don't usually see that (well, till much later in the evening). The first one has the benefit of the bride's expression, which he won't have seen till he sees the shot : )

Jamie Roberts Posted September 25, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted September 25, 2007 Hey Steven-- Love that lens Contrast-wise it's just lovely, even if it isn't as sharp as the ASPH. Here's another one from it I love...(same wedding)...hard to see on the Web, but it's gorgeous.
