bocaburger Posted January 9, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 9, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) After playing around with various ideas for years I finally found a cheap ($10), reasonable-looking solution to the fixed head of the SF24D and SF20 flashes. It's a Sto-Fen Omni Bounce model OM-C. Fits perfectly at the recommended 45-degree angle (thanks to the angled bevel on the back of the flash) with just enough friction not to fall off on its own. Works really well. I also tried with a piece of shiny foil on the inside front to further direct the flash up but couldn't see that it made any difference. Oh and it's the same one for the Metz 54 MZ3/MZ4 so if you have one of those it will do double duty. Edited January 9, 2015 by bocaburger

Wink Posted November 11, 2021 Share #2 Posted November 11, 2021 (edited) Could you reply with a picture of the Sto-Fen Omni Bounce attached to the SF24D? I realise your post was from more than 6 years ago, but I just got a SF24D flash and am interested in just how it fits.
