Shooting the M8 and M7 in tandem

I really enjoy carrying both bodies to events. The metering is the same, and by using a winder on the M7, the switch between bodies never results in missed shots by forgetting to manually advance! I am liking the B&W from the M7 more than conversion of M8 files, but I admit that with processing, they can look quite similar, especially as I am scanning the film to begin with. The ease of XP2 with readily available development and ease of scanning is a plus. In the end, I feel there is more "depth" to the film B&W. Anyway, here is a recent example of shooting an event with both bodies. The M8 held a 35/1.4 asph, the M7 a 50/1.4 asph which was always at 1.4. All the B&W's were from the M7. best....Peter

Peter,

You did a good grain management in your B&W snaps.

But I noticed that the images degraded due server bandwidth reduction from your album provider.

Occations like that, I would've shot all digital. ;)

I tend to party more than take pics.

Same here for B&W I will only shoot film...

You did a very good job on your film snaps.

Thanks for sharing!
