Advertisement Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Hi Guest, Take a look here Capture One 4. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
MitchoIankov Posted January 12, 2008 Share #2 Posted January 12, 2008 Brian, I was also annoyed that there is no way (was in 3.7) to set the default ICC Profile. I have found a workaround. Here are the steps Go to folder C:\Program Files\Phase One\Capture One 4\Color Profiles\DSLR\ close Capture One rename LeicaM8-Generic.ICC to LeicaM8-Generic-No-Filter.ICC copy LeicaM8-Generic UV-IR.ICC to LeicaM8-Generic.ICC Now when you start CaptureOne it still uses Generic ICC as default but it has the definitions of the profile with the filter. In the event you need the profile with no filter just manually select LeicaM8-Generic-No-Filter . To prove that it works change between LeicaM8-Generic and LeicaM8-Generic UV-IR and you should see no difference (because the files are the same just the names are different). Seems to work on my PC (Windows Vista). Cheers
delander † Posted January 13, 2008 Share #3 Posted January 13, 2008 Thanks Mitcho, that is a very useful tip, I have far more images taken with the filters than without, saves a lot of that copying and pasting the profile. I like much of the new C1 v4 but simply fail to under the rationale behind Phase One's removal of features that were in ver 3.7 LE. Just need now to have a method of controlling the placement of Capture One folders everywhere, Jeff
