Angenieux series on Leica

Trying to build a library of different type of old lenses on Leica's performance. I do think that this is a great combination...trying to bring back the lifes of these old lenses.

Angenieux S21 50mm f1.5+ m9p This is the camera lens with the same focal and aperture as S5. But S5 is a cine lens. Therefore this lens has no dark corners. In mid low light environment the performance of this lens is superb.

Angenieux S6 75mm f1.8+ S2 This lens has the same focal as S3 75/1.8 but its completely different. I shall call this the representative of water painting style. More soft n more romantic. Another representation of the Franch romance.

Angenieux S2 40mm f1.8, had this lens for sometimes, just didn't bring it out enough to shot more photos. This is also one of the S2 series that fits perfectly on full frame M9.

Angenieux S 50 f1.8 non coated. this one is a Pre S1 and S2 series, which means that it's a bit older than the current S1 and S2 type. It doesn't have any coating on it and I find that it works great on the new Leica-M Monochrom.

This is Angenieux M1 50mm f0.95 remount to M. It's one of the fastest lens in the Angenieux series. It has a slight dark corner on full frame but I find that this will give the photo more vintage look.
