Advertisement Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Hi Samir Jahjah, Take a look here Some nice pictures from Summilux, the French Leica Forum. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
microview Posted September 13, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 13, 2009 I liked this response "Arrêtez de montrer ces images indécentes, je n'ai plus les moyens!":) Some great shots BTW!
stunsworth Posted September 13, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 13, 2009 Nice shots. I used to work near where to where some of those were taken. There's a cafe next to that MK2 cinema shown in one of them. Having breakfast there one Sunday there was a body being dragged out of the far side of the canal. Not a great way to start the day - though worse for him than me.

MEB Posted September 13, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 13, 2009 Now I see where the 18mp have gone. Look at the light fuzz hair on the neck and cheek of the young boy in the crop photo. Very impressive pictures. Its getting harder and harder to tell myself that I don't need an M9. Mark B (East Lansing, Michigan)
stunsworth Posted September 13, 2009 Share #6 Posted September 13, 2009 You did not have your Leica to capture that moment? I would have had the Leica with me, but it's not something I would have photographed.

microview Posted September 14, 2009 Share #8 Posted September 14, 2009 I would have had the Leica with me, but it's not something I would have photographed. Well said Mr Unsworth! I once saw a distinguished UK portrait photographer, David Farrell, delighted at finding a drunk asleep in a Swiss Cottage shop doorway with he arse completely exposed. Taking a shot of that was, I thought, at least a minor lapse in taste.
M. Valdemar Posted September 14, 2009 Share #9 Posted September 14, 2009 Now wait for the ubiquitous smart-ass who will comment: «I can do that with my $400 (brand) P&S.» I could easily duplicate or better the results with a Kodak 14n full frame DSLR with no AA filter, the same as the Leica. eronald Posted September 14, 2009 Share #10 Posted September 14, 2009 I went there, and got roughly the same images with my D3x and $100 50mm/1.8 lens. It was raining when I took my shots so I expected worse. Edmund
