Well I need a little help here if possible. I have a 135/3.5 Angenieux LTM lens that was my dads (now deceased) that has a great deal of sentimental value to me. It's absolutely pristine and I give it a work out once every few months or so.
When I took it out last weekend It would not open up all the way, experiencing firm resistance at f5.6 or so. Not wanting to force it I put it away. Does anyone know of someone who is knowledgeable in working on these lenses and who I can trust with this lens that means a lot to me? I am in the US but will ship wherever the best service can be had. Any tips would really be appreciated. Kent

The aperture blades probably need a flood cleaning. A good CLA will take care of this.
I've heard great things about DAG Camera repair. DAG Camera Parts I do my own "flood Cleaning", and have had good luck on problems such as the one described. I'm sure your lens will be just fine. |

I exchanged emails with Don at DAG and they do not service this type of lens. If anyone has an idea as to another potential outfit that could service the lens I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks! Kent
