I have a 135/3.5 Angenieux LTM lens that was my dads (now deceased) that has a great deal of sentimental value to me. It's absolutely pristine and I give it a work out once every few months or so. When I took it out last weekend It would not open up all the way, experiencing firm resistance at f5.6 or so. Not wanting to force it I put it away. Does anyone know of someone who is knowledgeable in working on these lenses and who I can trust with this lens that means a lot to me? brianv Posted April 2, 2008 Share #2 Posted April 2, 2008 The aperture blades probably need a flood cleaning. A good CLA will take care of this. I've heard great things about DAG Camera repair. DAG Camera Parts I do my own "flood Cleaning", and have had good luck on problems such as the one described. I'm sure your lens will be just fine.
