noise reduction

Recommended Posts

I'm a big fan of Nik plug-ins. If I didn't already own Noise Ninja, which is good software, I probably would give Dfine a try. I may end up doing so anyway at some point in the future.

In any event, I have pretty much an identical Aperture setup to what you're thinking about: Viveza, Silver Efex, Color Efex, and NN.

Best,

Jeff.

Never used Define but I have used Neat Image and swore by it. Then I tried Noise Ninja and to be honest I like Noise Ninja better on the M8 higher ISO files. When I go back and look at my Nikon D200 images and use both NN & NI I still like NI on those files.

I think NIK has a 30 day trial of Define. Give it a try.
