Advertisement Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Hi shaozhuohong, Take a look here some questions about M3 viewfinder. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jhild Posted January 4, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 4, 2010 That is normal, don´t worry. As soon as you look through the viewfinder you don´t see those gaps anymore. Jo
marke Posted January 4, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 4, 2010 Jo's right. I have a small white gap on the left edge of the FV of my M3, and I actually never noticed it until I read your post.

shaozhuohong Posted January 8, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted January 8, 2010 Thank you guys! Enjoy your Leica Cameras! I also asked Leica Solms, Germany, The answer is blow: don’t worry, this is quite normal with your LEICA m3. All bodies have this missing coating of the viewfinder. The manufacturing back in the 50ties was different from today. It doesn’t have any influence on the performance, as you have also noticed. If all other functions of your m3 will be proper, there is no need for a service.
