I just got back from a couple weeks traveling from Moscow to Ulan Bator, Mongolia by train and thought I'd share a few images. I had two Leica M-Ps and a Summicron 28, 35 & 90 and Summilux 50. More images are here: http://www.davidhazy.com/projects/2016_siberia/ Ulan Ude, Russia Krasnoyarsk, Russia Moscow, Russia Ulan Bator, Mongolia Ulan Bator, Mongolia over Mongolia and the Gobe Desert

Thank you! It's based on the glass optics in the Summicron 35 pre-ASPH v4 lens. My favorite. The morse code running through it says "focus on the beauty"

On a rainy day here in Budapest. PS: Heading to Moscow and the train to Mongolia next week if anyone in the vicinity would like to grab a coffee or have some recommendations for me.

To whoever already has an M-D (262), please start an "I love my M-D" porn thread now. This is almost a perfect camera for me and my preferences, and I'm very much looking forward to getting one. Or two.

Shooting a fast moving cycling event like this with M9's and manual lenses was an interesting challenge. More here: www.davidhazy.com/projects/2015_cxnats/
