  1. I have Leica Fotos on my iPhone 11ProMax with iOS 15 and I can connect with my Q2 and operate the camera. So far so good. But I do have an issue, I selected a number of photos on the Q2 to download to my phone. Then selected jpg as the format to download and started the download. It took a while and it showed the progress bar and at a certain moment the download seemed ready. However I can’t see the pictures at all and when I try to connect to the camera to see the pictures, it states no photos found. I’ve deleted the app, turned off and rebooted my phone and reinstalled he app. But still no success. what did I do wrong and can someone give a tip how to solve this? thanks in advance!
  2. In the 60's I learned the joy of photography with my father’s M2. At a certain point I knew better and went my own way and tried many different brands. Then someone showed me an M9 and that was a surprise, everything was exactly where it should be. So I bought one with some extra lenses. But 95% of the time used the summilux 35mm. I loved it. But the whole set was too heavy for a very bad shoulder. So I got the Q2. That turned out to be the best of both worlds for me, the feeling of the M2 but with all kind of nice modern extras. Leica still is the best engineered, most beautiful camera with ultimate handling and by far the best optics you can get. So thank you for your advice, but no thank you for Nikon
  3. Die ursprüngliche Objektivdeckel hatte bei mir auch kein griff auf die Sonnenblende. Deshalb habe ich eine Match Technical Lens Cap for Leica Q and Q2 gekauft. Es ist gemacht von ein sehr robustem Gummi und passt wie angegossen sowohl mit oder ohne Sonnenblende. Es ist ein Produkt von der gleichen Firma, die die Thumbs Up produziert.
  4. What's wrong with the Q2 Macro? I have not found the downsides of it yet, but I'm always interested to learn from someone elses views or experiences.
  5. Leica could end this discussion if they would offer a fully identical Q2 with either a 28, 35 or 50 mm fixed lens. Then every client could select the lens that suits him best. And I would chose a 35mm version. I understand that's expensive and perhaps too complicated to offer such an option. So it seems logic they took a 28 because you can crop to 35 and higher, where with a 50mm you can not "uncrop" to a 28. After a M9-P with multiple lenses of which 80% of the time I used the Summilux 35mm, I'm very happy with my new Q2, it's lighter, more compact and offers a lot of nice to haves.
  6. I own a Digilux-2 and out of curiosity I have tried to find the total number of shutter actuations. I have used several EXIF readers / programs and with none I seem to be able to find the information. Does anyone have a suggestion where to look or what to use?
