  1. Had a few rolls i finally got to scanning. I've been working at getting better shooting moving subjects with the rangefinder and happy with my results from a recent bike race. These were shot on Portra 160 with the 90mm Summicron-M. Scanned with Epson v600. img135 by Steven Jauch, on Flickr img135 by Steven Jauch, on Flickr img135 by Steven Jauch, on Flickr img135 by Steven Jauch, on Flickr img135 by Steven Jauch, on Flickr img135 by Steven Jauch, on Flickr
  2. Here are two from a recent walk in the woods. A fire passed over this area a year ago but it's grown back so fast you'd hardly notice if you weren't paying attention. 35mm f2.5 skopar; Tri-X, Epson v600 Scan. Untitled by Steven Jauch, on Flickr Untitled by Steven Jauch, on Flickr
  3. Yes, I scan at home on an Epson v600. It's killing me now that I see I forgot to straighten the horizon line.
  4. Shot my first roll of Ferrania P30. I rated it at box speed, 80. I did not process it myself, had a lab do it. So I don't know the developing details. Based on the results I'm going to expose my next roll at 50. These negs were a little thin and very contrasty. However I do like how sharp this film is and the grain is really nice and fine. 5. Nice, I've determined the M4-P is my favorite M body that I've used.
  6. I'd be happier getting a CLA done on a camera I got for a bit lower price rather than relying on a seller saying one was done. This way I know the work was actually done by someone I trust and any issues the camera might have.
  7. Grabbed this M4-P about two months ago to go along with my black one. I've been waiting to drop it off for a cla. Apparently it's sat unused for quite a while and has sticky frame lines and the typical hazy viewfinder window. Very happy to have found one in like new condition. Really wonder if it's ever had film through it. 8. There are two little Windows on the top edge of the scan bed. Clean those and make sure they're dust free before scanning. That'll fix the line issue.
  9. Nope, these are not cropped and generally avoid doing so. These were both with a Rolleinar closer up filter attached.
  10. I've been shooting with the Rolleiflex a little more recently and playing with the Rolleinar 1 filter. 3.5mx-evs, portra400, epson v600, rolleinar 1 Nutmeg Weekend July 8-9 2017 by Steven Jauch, on Flickr 3.5mx-evs, portra400, epson v600, rolleinar 1 Rolleiflex, Portra400, Rolleinar 1 by Steven Jauch, on Flickr
  11. Based on my use, yes I'd recommend setting the meter on your MP to 800. In addition to helping with the color during the day the 85b filter will also help you manage your shutter speed. Without the filter in daylight you'll get a heavy blue cast.
  12. That's correct and the original poster is asking about the ISO setting on an MP. Since that has a meter I'd recommend using shooting this at box speed, 800. I've had very good results with this. The meter will adjust if you add a filter. 13. I shoot this in daylight with an 85b filter, iso set to 800. Works great and color balances out due to the filter. At night shoot it at 800. I don't see a need to rate this at 500.
  14. Thanks, i've been very happy with Portra in both 160 & 400. I do have quite a bit more scanned. I'll have to do better about posting.
  15. I just received an M4-P that apparently hasn't been used in a long time if at all. When manually moving the frameline preview lever the 28/90 lines aren't showing. I mounted a 90mm lens and that brought up the 28/90 lines however the 50/75 were still slightly visible. Has anyone encountered this and does the camera just need a CLA to clean things up or does this sound like a greater mechanical issue? Thanks.
