Advertisement Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Hi chasander, Take a look here Visoflex on M9. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
eleskin Posted September 24, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 24, 2009 I have the Visoflex 2 and 3 and both work on my M8, so it should also work on the M9 since both cameras are the same size. Just remember the original Visoflex eye level finder will not fit. You will need the eye level finder from the Visoflex 3. The Visoflex 3 finder fits the Visoflex 2 as well. swamiji Posted September 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 24, 2009 On the roll out day (9/9/9). The Leica rep had a M9 and I had my Visoflex III... With the limited time I had, it seem to work fine, in fact a better fit... The images were same, but now I can use the full viewfinder instead of just the center 2/3. ModernMan Posted October 1, 2009 Share #4 Posted October 1, 2009 The Visoflex II and III work great on the M9, with the caveats noted above regarding eye-level viewfinders. I will add the additional comment that the release button on the camera is in a slightly (couple of millimeters) different location than on older M cameras like my M4-P, so the alignment of the release lever is noticably imperfect, but seems completely functional neverhteless. I enjoy how the Visoflex works with the aperture preferred automatic exposure on the M7 and M9 (and presumably the M8).
