Copenhagenliving Posted September 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 19, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello This is my first contribution too this forum (written with Google Translate). I am the happy owner of a Leica Digilux 3. After almost a year of use, it's time to clean the sensor. I have read the camera instructions and I can see that I need Bubl setting. According to the instructions, If you set the shutter speed to , the shutter stays open while the shutter button is pressed fully (up to about 8 minutes). The shutter closes if you release the shutter button. But when I put shutter speed dial on the B (bubl)and hold the button, it just takes a normal photo (like Aperture-Priority AE (A)) without the shutter is open. What am I doing wrong? Advertisement Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Hi Copenhagenliving, Take a look here About [B] (Bulb) settings (Digilux 3). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pitti Posted September 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 19, 2009 You have to set the speed dial to "2-60s/B". Then press the fourway controller up. After 60 sec. you get the "B" mode. The "2-60s/B" on the speed dial should be understand as one line, because there is no place for a "B" beside "2-60". The point beside "B" means 1 Sec. Sorry for my bad english.
