Guy's Hospital Tower, London Bridge

Recommended Posts

;) Completed in 1974, this Brutalist tower (143m) was the tallest building in london until the NatWest Tower (now Tower 42) was completed. I believe the architects were Watkins Gray for the NHS. It will be dwarfed by the almost adjacent Shard and exceed just by the new Elephant & Castle. Currently the Hospital Trust are (regrettably) proposing :( to give it a facelift.

Nice pic BTW Louis! (Well you did ask!)

(PS - Is it my eyes or could it do with a very slight clockwise angular adjustment?)
