Advertisement Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Hi johnbuckley, Take a look here "There May Be Something In Our Webcast You Still Don't Know About". I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted September 8, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 8, 2009 Of course! This has been such a subtle game of incremental and viral marketing that it is virtually certain that there is still one big splash to come.

earleygallery Posted September 8, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 8, 2009 Do they realise how much server space they are using up here by creating so much activity with all of this rumour mongering?! I hope the Mods are telling them off!!

dpattinson Posted September 8, 2009 Share #7 Posted September 8, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's the accessory manual winder for the M8/9. When used in discreet mode, the accessory winder prevents the shutter button from lifting after a shot - until the lever is re-cocked. Comes with your choice of re-cock sound sampled from historic Leica film models.
Steve Ash Posted September 8, 2009 Share #8 Posted September 8, 2009 Of course! This has been such a subtle game of incremental and viral marketing that it is virtually certain that there is still one big splash to come. Jaap, you are kidding. Big splash is going to be the new CEO??? Steve
ddp Posted September 8, 2009 Share #9 Posted September 8, 2009 a revised 75/1.4...
stunsworth Posted September 8, 2009 Share #10 Posted September 8, 2009 It's difficult to see what they'd introduce and not have put in the brochure. I would have thought lenses since none have been leaked so far, but if that was the case I'd have expected to see them in the brochure. Sports optics maybe? Then again it could be the X1 if they're aiming the twitter message at people who haven't seen the brochure, and were expecting just the M9. jaapv Posted September 8, 2009 Share #11 Posted September 8, 2009 Jaap, you are kidding. Big splash is going to be the new CEO??? Steve I have absolutely no idea what. But there must be something
dpattinson Posted September 8, 2009 Share #12 Posted September 8, 2009 Or, it could be that the brochure is a deliberate leak - so the extras are not in there. Perhaps they are more subtle than we think
tashley Posted September 8, 2009 Share #13 Posted September 8, 2009 It'll be video of some kind.

earleygallery Posted September 8, 2009 Share #17 Posted September 8, 2009 I think Steve is right, it's the X1 most likely. Either that or accessory tape which is the right shade to cover the red dot on the steel grey M9.
Mauribix Posted September 8, 2009 Share #18 Posted September 8, 2009 A silver/chrome M9?
mooky Posted September 8, 2009 Share #19 Posted September 8, 2009 Leica Cinema lenses???????
kidigital Posted September 8, 2009 Share #20 Posted September 8, 2009 I'd certainly be thrilled with an updated 75lux ... as someone speculated earlier. Wishful thinking for the shallow depth of field fans like me, but it'd be great to see a 75/1.2. Kurt
