New Visoflex for M9

I was told that the R lens solution from Leica is a viewfinder-mirrorbox for the new M9 and that is why there is no R10 (ff). With this combination there was no need for a new R body and this way they could put all the energy into just two systems: M & S

VERY unlikely - the register distance of a mirror box would be too long for R lenses.

I already said this, but it is impossible.

A far more easy and economic solution would be a M camera with a detachable electronic viewfinder (similar to that of the Panasonic GF1, but much better; or the EVF of the RED prototype) and a R-to-M adapter, but the sensor has to support live view.

It is not, you just need two adapters: One for M lenses & another for R lenses with mirrorbox etc...

It wouldn't work, there's not enough difference in the lens registers of the M and R lenses to fit a mirror.

No. The register of both lens systems is far too short. There would be no space for a mirror

You have to take the M mount off before you put the R.

I know it can be done and it really solves the R dilema,

Show us your patent. It would make for some pretty fancy mechanics for the mirror movement.

It is just a regular mirrorbox but the secret is that you have to take the M mount off first.

Pinhole lenses have no fixed register.

no,no, what I am saying is that if you take the M mount off, you have all the space you need from the shutter curtain to the R mount.

but don't ask me, ask your dealer.
