would anyone be so nice to show some photos that make it possible to evaluate the bokeh of this lens? Is it possible to make nice portraits with it?

 

Maybe not your traditional portrait, but here is a shot from our recent workshop to Monument Valley.

I'm considering doing the same thing. Next couple of days I'll have the opportunity to have a look and mount it on my S2.

I own this lens and the primes. Its nice to have the zoom coverage but you will give up speed and edge performance for the convenience,I prefer the primes.. Primes offer Bokeh too while the VE is too slow,especially at the tele end..

 

Generally mine seems to perform better from 30-55 and after that its starting to soften at the edges..
