Ben thats lovely. the dof isolates her but keep just enough to tell the story of her face.. yup. always look out for people with missing teeth in card games. she looks like a colorful character.

Probably my favorite of your work as of late. There is something really natural about her expression that brings me back. Did you use a gradient to create the OOF area or was that straight out of camera? I guess they can't keep the two of us out of Chinatown.

William, straight out of that wide open 80Summilux 1.4. Best lens I own. I spend a lot of time there. Most of it without a camera. Meditation, Tai chi, listening to Chinese music, walks. Thanks.

Amado, I would think it's some kind of denture, artificial teeth, ... Hard to explain how enticing and mesmerizing she was in that light. Everyone was entranced by the glow & she was totally unselfconscious.
