New iPhone format rocks

Recommended Posts

What would you want the iPhone app to do?

You can already make a web page into an icon on the iPhone desktop. This is how I get access straight to the forum, and the icon is on my front page desktop

There are also free RSS readers out there for the iPhone. The Forum is available as an RSS feed.

I can not get this format to come up on my IPhone. Help please.

On a related note, I installed this App on my iPod Touch where it worked fine, for about two weeks. Now when I click on the App, it reverts to the normal full-webpage L-Forum format. Confused as to why the App suddenly quit working.

It isn't an app, it's just a different layout for the forum that's suited to an iPhone/iPod Touch. If you are seeing the standard version look at the bottom left of the page in Safari, you'll see a drop down box labelled "Leica Forum Standard". Tap on the box and you'll see that one of the options is "iPhone". Select that and you should be back in the iPhone friendly layout.

Yep, that did it. Thanks for the tip.
