Advertisement Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Hi dkCambridgeshire, Take a look here Ammonite Lumachelle. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
storybrown Posted July 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 19, 2009 This is a grand series. Are you shooting your collection or somebody else's? Your R4sP is much more skilled & disciplined than mine; mine has gotten pretty spoiled and lazy, you inspire me to get to work with it!
dkCambridgeshire Posted July 19, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted July 19, 2009 This is a grand series. Are you shooting your collection or somebody else's? Your R4sP is much more skilled & disciplined than mine; mine has gotten pretty spoiled and lazy, you inspire me to get to work with it! The fossils are all from my own collection and all scanned from Cibachrome prints. I'm a bit late "scanning" as only bought my first scanner last week when needed a new printer ie it is a HP C6380 printer/copier/scanner. Thus experimenting scanning a few old prints. I'm planning to photograph the specimens digitally as well in near future. The R4-S is a super camera and very reliable and capable - and very cheap these days compared to the £500 used price I paid for mine over 20 years ago. Cheers dunk
