Hi!

I just inhertited a Leica camera that my grandad bought in 1957. I have problems identifying it. The number on it says Nr.827676. I have three lenses with it 3,5cm, 5cm and 9cm and a 3,5cm viewfinder.

Can anyone help me identifyng it? Are there any links to guides to use it?

Yes, it has a screwmount. By pictures I can find online it seems to be a IIIG yes.

I have problems with the backwind, as the aperature knob (?) does not seem to go round correctly when I push the releaser.

Are there any guides for this camera? Is it a common Leica camera?

Yes it is a very common Leica camera. The III was made from, I think, before WW2, or just after and the II was made before WW2, until around the end of the 50's.

There are numerous website you can get info from. Just do a google search for Leica III (3).
