The context I derive from your description says that the two are neighbors as opposed to being your neighbors. I think there's a little more going on due to your excellent capture. The light falling on the man's face is simply priceless. The serenity that you have created around the blanket looks like a place I would want to spend an afternoon contemplating absolutely nothing.
