Advertisement Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Hi pauledell, Take a look here The Pavilion . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
soleforeal Posted July 9, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 9, 2009 Paul, Well done. It's simple and having a lot going on as far as texture and materials.
vdb Posted July 9, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 9, 2009 Interesting structure with great texture. What kind of pavilion is this?
stuny Posted July 9, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 9, 2009 Paul - I very much like the texture and detail, as wellas the geometry. I feel it can be stronger with the addition of some shadow slider....
pauledell Posted July 9, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted July 9, 2009 Soleforeal, Thank you for your comments. Virgil, It is a privately owned industrial and commercial park. They call it a pavilion but I'm not sure if it is like the ones that are at the state parks. Stuart, Thanks for your suggestions and comments. biglouis Posted July 9, 2009 Share #6 Posted July 9, 2009 Paul, I agree with the other responders about the geometry and textures. I'd be interested to see what you could achieve in a colour version of this picture. LouisB
pauledell Posted July 9, 2009 Author Share #7 Posted July 9, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Louis, Thanks for your remarks. This picture was taken on a cloudy day and the color was so "not there", that I didn't even consider it. The subject was not all that colorful either.
