thompsonkirk Posted July 7, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 7, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Not literally a prison; it's an old gun battery on the Marin Headlands that protected San Francisco through WWII. But when I saw this scene through the viewfinder, it made me think of the Mexican jail scene in Cormac McCarthy's Border Crossings trilogy. If I were a cinematographer I'd film that scene here. pauledell Posted July 7, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 7, 2009 Kirk, Great for composition, clarity, colors and patterns. It reminds me of one of Clint Eastwood's westerns. I expect a Gringo to drop on the ground in any minute. Paul
vdb Posted July 7, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 7, 2009 Strong, gripping image. I feel like I'm inside the prison looking out. Great subtle colors as well.

soleforeal Posted July 7, 2009 Share #5 Posted July 7, 2009 Beautiful photo, nicely framed. All the elements flow nicely together, it kind of makes a face shape.
