Does that qualify for the business dress-code in NYC? Paul

vdb Posted July 6, 2009 Share #6 Posted July 6, 2009 Excellent Ben, for all the above reasons. Mostly I like this for the apparent frazzled energy she seems to have.

PhotoArchival Posted July 7, 2009 Share #8 Posted July 7, 2009 The image itself has a painterly effect to it enhanced by the light and colors...any added fx in PS? Amado
roguewave Posted July 7, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted July 7, 2009 Thanks to everyone for your comments. Amado, I'm not sure what you mean by "fx". I don't use anyone's presets or effects sold commercially. Never have. I usually try to shape the image to represent what I saw & felt in the frame at the time of it's capture. When you & your wife come to NYC, I will take you to Mac Dougall Street. It looks just like this after dark or just before sunset with all the various lights overhead from neon signs, open windows, the street cafes & stray lights from so many sources. semrich Posted July 7, 2009 Share #10 Posted July 7, 2009 Ben, aptly titled and convincingly portrays the hectic pace of modern city life in bright light and full color.
mark_goode Posted July 8, 2009 Share #11 Posted July 8, 2009 Great image, almost "painterly" in its effect.
