Lakes, South Island, New Zealand

David, the Lake Matheson shot is interesting. To get the mirror reflection late afternoon when your shot was taken is rare. Normally you have to get up a couple of hours before dawn and hoof it down to the lake to get the photos as the sun rises behind the mountains.( I lived and worked in Fox Glacier for 3 months in 1975.) They are all great shots.

Thanks, and yes, Stuart, a rarity to have no wind! :D You've just got to make the most of the weather when you get the chance and can't book it in advance, especially in New Zealand -- you can get four seasons in one day! I took pics of Lake Matheson late afternoon and early morning.
