MrEd Posted November 9, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 9, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has any one had any experience with Kodak Professional Elite Chrome film? It's beginning to pop up at chain drug stores in the USA. Thanks for any feedback. Ed. .
Advertisement Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Hi MrEd, Take a look here Elite Chrome. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
hamey Posted November 9, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 9, 2006 Hello Ed. I have been using Kodak Elitechrome 100 for a while and must admit I like it, however I don't know of the PRO version. As soon as my last remaining stock finishes I am going to use the E100-G or the slightly warmer GX. Seems to go well with Leica Lenses. Ken.
nyrich Posted November 9, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 9, 2006 Ed, I've been using Elitechrome (both EB and EBX) for quite some time with very good results. However, it's my understanding that the Elitechromes are "consumer" films while the Ektachromes are Kodak's "professional" films. I haven't seen Elitechrome in any of the drugstores here in New York City but just might have overlooked it. I can't remember the last time I bought slide film anywhere other than B&H or Adorama.
