mat_mcdermott Posted June 12, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 12, 2009 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Apologies for the overt self-promotion, but I've got a new slideshow of photos of The High Line park in New York running on TreeHugger. Everything was taken with the M8 and 28 'Cron and 18 Super-Elmar. In case you don't know, The High Line is a new park built on top of derelict train tracks on the west side of Manhattan, the same sort of thing as the Promenade Plantée in Paris. The first section between Gansevoort and 20th Streets is now open, with construction continuing on sections to extend it northward. If your in NYC you should really check it out. Whether you like street photography, landscapes, macros its a field day up there. Also, the complete set of photos is on my flickr page. J_Thompson Posted June 12, 2009 Share #4 Posted June 12, 2009 Thanks for sharing, Mat. I found your images really interesting and definitely adding to my need to visit NYC in the near future. As far as the "self-promotion" goes, how else were we to know about all of this? Thanks again.
