dkCambridgeshire Posted June 11, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 11, 2009 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) My first submissions to this forum. I'm a fairly new M8.2 user and these are my first serious attempts with the camera using a 90mm APO Summicron. Taken in my kitchen using window light with redundant slide projector screen to one side and opposite the window to provide 'fill-in'. Quite difficult trying to focus on the eyes of the smallish 10 inch high bronze. Also used a gobo to tone down some of the brighter reflections which were a bit distracting. The lens was bought relatively cheaply as a 'used bargain' as there is a chip in the front element but it has no effect on the image. vdb Posted June 12, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 12, 2009 Welcome to the photo section. #1 is quite good for tonal range and framing. I might play a bit with DPP, especially for #2, with contrast and sharpening. Please keep posting as you will enjoy this section for sure.
