I like the subject, the toning, and the post-processing. Again Azzo, you have proven you are the master of this domain. Can't wait for you to offer a workshop some day.

However, I find she is a bit tight in the frame. I would like to see more space on the left hand side, which might complete the story in terms of whom/what she is gesturing towards. As it stands, the subject is out of context.

It's a street shot my friend.

I quickly crop in camera what doesn't work for me at that moment.

This woman was calling out to her friend who was inside the shop which entrance is right besides me.

Now Jeff, you tell me....How on earth am I going to capture both subjects ? :)

Friends,

Thank you all for taking the time to look and to comment and as always, it's appreciated.

Ivan,

Great shot and DPP. I understand Jeff's comment AND that in this situation you didn't have time and a better viewpoint. Now if only you could click your fingers just so time stood still .. :p Marco

I agree with Marco.

Great and difficult shot Ivan !

Thanks for sharing

Do you use TriX Ivan? and what is your scanner?

Oh yes, the image - one can feel the moment - arms akimbo to both balance on the uneven road surface and to acknowledge an acquaintance - it makes the tension in the image that we also feel and possibly is why some want to know more about the moment. Well I think anyway:D

I like the picture very much. Though if I can give my opinion, I would have left some space for her right hand. Now it looks a bit to me as if the old lady is looking to find a support on the frame instead of signing to "somebody". BUT is is a great capture!
